Medical Facials
Dull, tired or congested skin, or an event coming up? Medical facials are doctor-led skin treatments that go deeper than a salon facial: they clean out pores, exfoliate, hydrate or build collagen, depending on the one you choose. Most take 30–60 minutes with no downtime, and many give a visible glow the same day. A doctor matches the facial to your skin, so you pay for results, not pampering.
Best for dull, dry or congested skin, rough texture, early loss of firmness, and a glow before a wedding or event.

Choosing a treatment 5
01Which facial is best for glowing skin?
For an instant glow, HydraFacial or Diamond Glow; for glow that lasts, a course that builds the skin.
HydraFacial cleans, exfoliates and hydrates in about 45 minutes, Diamond Glow smooths rough skin straight away, and the PRGF facial uses growth factors from your own blood to improve the skin over 2–4 sessions.
02How is a medical facial different from a salon facial?
It is chosen and done under a doctor’s care, with devices and ingredients that reach deeper.
In a study, six HydraFacial sessions reduced fine lines and pore size, and skin imaging showed a smoother outer skin layer afterwards.
03Which facial should I have before my wedding?
A carbon laser peel or HydraFacial a few days before gives a same-day glow with no downtime.
For a bigger change, start a course of PRGF or Deep Collagen facials 2–3 months ahead.
04Which facial helps loose or ageing skin?
The Deep Collagen facial, which firms skin with radiofrequency heat over 4–8 sessions, with no needles.
Studies measured firmer, more elastic skin about three months after a course.
05What is BB Glow?
A treatment that tints and brightens the skin with a serum, for an even, dewy look that lasts up to about 6 months.
BB Glow is temporary and best for a light, even finish, not for deep pigmentation.

Collagen-building facials such as PRGF and Deep Collagen last months.
08How often should I have a facial?
Monthly for HydraFacial and Diamond Glow.

Safety & recovery 2
09Is there downtime?
None for most: after HydraFacial, Diamond Glow, Deep Collagen or the carbon peel you go straight back to your day.
PRGF and BB Glow can leave pinkness or redness for 1–2 days.
10Are facials safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Usually, yes, after a doctor checks your skin.
HydraFacial isn’t done over sunburn, broken skin or deep cystic acne, or soon after isotretinoin, and anyone allergic to aspirin or salicylic acid should say so.
