The lift fades gradually as the threads dissolve: PDO threads in about six to eight months, PLLA in about a year, with new collagen helping along the way.
Swelling or bruising for one to two weeks is common; the face can feel tight at first.
It isn’t suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an infection or active acne in the area, a bleeding disorder, or very loose, heavy skin.
